Skräp is a fictitious upscale interior furnishings design company and boutique specializing in creating products made exclusively from materials generated from byproducts of industrial consumption.

Inspired by the cultures of Norse and other Germanic peoples, Skräp adapted a set of ancient symbols or Runes in naming of its product lines. Runes are ideographic or pictographic symbols that describe cosmological principles or power that often included a very intimate connection of humanity to nature. To write a rune was to invoke and direct the force for which it stood. Skräp’s belief that in its practice it follows similar principles by breathing new life into discarded materials. The use of these symbols throughout our offerings is a quiet tribute to the age-old traditions.
